NASCAR Entry List for Xfinity Series Race at Bristol Motor Speedway

The NASCAR Xfinity Series is excited to take on the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway, and the entry lists have been revealed.

For the Food City 300, there will be 39 entries, which means one driver will miss the show. Among the notable entries are Joe Graf Jr. and Ryan Truex for Joe Gibbs Racing. Also, Jeffrey Earnhardt will drive the No. 26 car for Sam Hunt Racing. Meanwhile, Carson Ware returns behind the wheel for his first start since 2021 with Joey Gase Motorsports. Finally, Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes what could be his final Xfinity Series start with JR Motorsports. (more…)

Corey Day Lands Four-Race NASCAR Truck Opportunity with McAnally-Hilgemann

Corey Day, a standout on dirt, has quickly been working his way up the racing ladder, and on Monday McAnally-Hilgemann Racing announced that they have added the 18-year-old driver to their NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series stable for a four-race stint this season. Here’s the way it went for New England drivers at The Glen
Chris Buescher won the Cup race with Corey LaJoie coming in eighth with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT in ninth then it was Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing in 15th while Kaz Grala wasn’t as lucky and ended up 35th.  Corey LaJoie is the son of Two-Time Xfinity Champion who moved from Norwalk, CT and his later years to Charlotte, NC to be closer to the NASCAR action.
The Xfinity race had Corner Zillich in Victory Lane with Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT was awarded seventh with Joey Logano got the ninth spot while Kyle Weatherman was way back in 38th.  Weatherman drives one of the team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and daughter Mary Our of Chatham, MA.

Chase Briscoe comes into the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway 11th among the 16 drivers in the NASCAR Playoffs. Only the top-12 drivers in points after Bristol advance to the next playoff round, and Briscoe sits just one spot above the playoff bubble with a six-point advantage over 13th-place Denny Hamlin. Briscoe can either maintain that advantage at the end of Saturday night’s 500 lapper around the .533-mile oval or punch his ticket to the Round of 12 with a victory. (more…)

Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series at Watkins Glen International… Richard Childress Racing has two NASCAR Cup Series victories at Watkins Glen International. Robby Gordon won the 2003 event, leading the final 30 laps and scoring his third victory with RCR over the span of three seasons. Kevin Harvick captured the 2006 race at the New York road course, edging Tony Stewart for the victory, and claiming his first win at Watkins Glen. The victory was Harvick’s first on a road course and came in his 200th career Cup start. Dale Earnhardt won three poles (1990, 1992, 1996) for the Welcome, N.C.-based organization. RCR drivers have racked up eight top-five and 23 top-10 finishes in 81 starts at the New York road course. (more…)
