After his career as a three-time SCCA title-winning racing driver, Philadelphia native Barber founded his eponymous racing school in 1975. The three-day Skip Barber Racing School is SBRS’s signature product and combines on-track experience in either a race-prepared Mustang GT or a Mygale Formula 4 car and fundamental sessions in the classroom. Tracks hosting the school include Circuit of the Americas, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Lime Rock Park, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Sebring International Raceway, Sonoma Raceway, and Virginia International Raceway. The MSHFA is housed in Daytona International Speedway’s Ticket & Tours Building located in front of the famed 2.5-mile DIS tri-oval.
