THOMPSON, Conn. – Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park returned to oval track racing on Wednesday, September 14 and it was a familiar face in Victory Lane when the night was over. MILFORD, Conn. – Earlier in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season, Doug Coby parked the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY in Victory Lane at Riverhead Raceway. The six-time Whelen Modified Tour champion’s victory in May was his third career at the New York quarter-mile, all coming within his last five starts.

This Friday and Saturday night, the playoffs heat up with round two, as the Final Four will be set in all nine of Seekonk’s divisions looking ahead to the finale weekend on September 23-24.
