Maine native Ricky Craven will lead the field to green for New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
LOUDON, N.H. – On Sunday, Sept. 21, Ricky Craven, two-time NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race winner and Newburgh, Maine native, will get behind the wheel of the official Toyota GR Supra pace car as he leads 36 of NASCAR’s best to the green flag for the Mobil 1 301 NCS race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).

Denny Hamlin won the Cup race at the World Wide Technology Raceway. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished fifth with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT placing 13th.
Conner Zilisch won the Xfinity event. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgewood, CT came in 13th, and Thomas Annunziata of NJ ended up 20th.

Forecasts for a wet weekend on Long Island became reality Saturday forcing NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour officials and Riverhead Raceway management to rest the Eddie Partridge 256 WMT program to Saturday October 4th. With the forecasted rain predicted to hit right in the middle of WMT practice and or qualifying Saturday and lasting into Sunday the decision to move the event back a month was made early Saturday morning.Lime Rock Park – Thank YOU for a Fantastic Historic Festival!
Over Labor Day Weekend, Lime Rock Park hosted the 43rd edition of the track-produced event known as Historic Festival, a five-day celebration of motorsport heritage that drew the largest collection of vintage cars in the circuit’s modern history.
With 38 races from nine race groups, three special exhibitions from the Ragtime Racers, more than 300 race entries, 125 parade participants, dozens of collector cars on display and nearly 1,000 rare classic vintage automobiles and motorcycles that participated in Sunday in the Park, the storied Connecticut circuit became a rolling museum of speed and history.
