“King Of The Modifieds” Luke Baldwin Ready To Race In The Greatest Tradition In Modified Racing At Lake Erie Speedway In The VP Racing Fuels Race Of Champions 250
North East, Pa. – (September 17, 2024) – Luke Baldwin of Mooresville, NC, who won the Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams “King of the Modifieds” race earlier this season at South Boston (VA) Speedway will be competing at Lake Erie Speedway in the “Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing” this Sunday in the VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250.
It will be Baldwin’s first visit to the facility aboard his families famous 7NY racecars, which are now owned by his father, Tommy, Jr.
Bass Pro Shops/Winchester Racing: Noah Gragson Bristol Advance
The Bass Pro Shops Night Race Saturday at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway will mark Noah Gragson’s second NASCAR Cup Series start on the concrete-clad, .533-mile oval. The 26-year-old racer from Las Vegas last competed on the track in March when he started 22nd and finished 34th in the Food City 500. Gragson did, however, race a Cup car at Bristol twice prior to his March visit, but it was when Bristol’s straightaways and high banks were covered in 23,000 cubic yards of red clay. - SECOND SEASON: Ty Gibbs is competing in his second full NASCAR Cup Series season driving the No. 54 He Gets Us Toyota Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing. He has 11 top-10 and seven top-five finishes and is 12th in points, six points ahead of Denny Hamlin. The top-12 advance to the second round after the Bristol night race on September 21.
- LAPS LED: He has led 389 laps this season, which is the most he has led in any Cup season.
Christian Rose and AM Racing Unveil WVU Medicine Children’s Livery for Bristol Motor Speedway
STATESVILLE, N.C.: The penultimate ARCA Menards Series short track race of the year at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway will feature a fiery new paint scheme with AM Racing and driver Christian Rose partnering with WVU Medicine Children’s for Thursday night’s Bush’s Bean 200.
Rose’s No. 32 Ford Mustang will feature a design submitted by three WVU Medicine Children’s patients who will also attend the 200-lap race on September 19. (more…)

‘They Write It as They Go’ — Santino Ferrucci Rebounds for Nashville Top 10
LEBANON, Tenn. — Among all the drivers in the NTT IndyCar Series field, perhaps nobody’s name is more associated with controversy as Santino Ferrucci.
The Woodbury, Conn., native has developed a reputation and reinforced it this season as a major threat on ovals. Ferrucci demanded attention more than a handful of times when the series came to World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway and the Milwaukee Mile by pulling off a series of high-risk moves at both venues and walking away with two fourth-place finishes (both in the Milwaukee doubleheader) from those three races, with a 12th-place finish at Gateway being the outlier.

Center Conway’s Gabe Brown Sweeps Wall’s Ford Platinum Series En-Route to Championship
N. Woodstock, NH — A picture perfect evening in North Woodstock, New Hampshire on Saturday night for the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series championship showdown. The evening started off with two Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division feature events. Split with a larger car count entering the pit area on Saturday, feature one saw young Madison Potter hold onto the lead, even after a hair-raising restart following Colton Williams’ smash-up with the turn two wall.
Potter took down her first career Kid’s Division victory with an all-female podium featuring a hard-charging Chloe Doyle taking second and Makenzi Sicard coming home third. Feature two saw Connor Charbonneau pace the early going as Hayden Bushey and Colby Stygles powered their way to the front from their back-row starting spots. The battle came down to the final lap with Hayden Bushey claiming the win over Stygles and Charbonneau hanging on for third. (more…)
