NASCAR Modified Feature Decided By A Car Length In A Photo Finish With Duane Howard Edging Ryan Watt In Grandview Speedway Thriller

Grandview SpeedwayBECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It was another night of competitive racing for the history books on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modified feature coming down to the final lap and the final turn for the second consecutive week.

Scoring the exciting and dramatic victory was defending track champion Duane Howard of Oley, Pa., who was able to stave off challenges from Ryan Watt of Boyertown, Pa. over the final five laps of the 30-lap feature, to score the win by a car’s length at the checkered flag.

This dramatic and exciting feature was one week after Jared Umbenhauer of Richland, Pa. held off several late race challenges last week from Justin Grim of Orefield, Pa. to score the win by about a car’s length at the finish.

Over 155 Entries Highlight Thrilling INEX Spring Nationals Weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds SpeedwayNASHVILLE, TN – A tremendous weekend of racing action unfolded at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway as the INEX Spring Nationals wrapped up a six-day showcase featuring more than 155 competitors from across the United States, Canada, and beyond.

Despite early weather challenges, track officials worked quickly and efficiently to get the facility race-ready, allowing the event to continue with minimal delay and setting the stage for an action-packed finale.

Two Days Of Racing This Weekend At Grandview Speedway – Modified Twin 25’s On May 9 – High Limit 410 Sprints On May 19

Grandview SpeedwayBECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following two successful weeks of racing action to begin the new season, Grandview Speedway is ready to present the first two-day race weekend of the 2026 season.

This weekend Grandview Speedway will host two racing events beginning on Friday, April 17, as the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage cars will be in action joined by the Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinders and the Xcel 600 Modifieds starting at 7 pm.

Pit gates will be opening at 2 pm, and grandstand gates open at 5 pm. Grandstand admission is $10, children ages 12 and under are admitted free, while pit admission is $35 for the Friday event.

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — Officials with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series have been forced to make changes to the schedule of the 6t annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway due to forecasted showers on Friday and Sunday. That said, Officials have opted to build a one-day show on Saturday, April 18 with a 1:00pm start time. Teams and campers will still be able to arrive on site starting at 4:00pm Friday for camping and early pit parking until 7:00pm.

Jon McKennedy came out swinging in the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series season opener at the Thompson Speedway Icebreaker on Saturday, cashing in the $10,000 check! (Alan Ward photo)

Thompson, CT — Sunny Saturday greeted the fans at Thompson Speedway to kick off the 52nd Icebreaker with thirty cars filling out the Monaco Modified field. Ronnie Williams quickly took the point with just 75 laps on the board to claim the $10,000 winners share at the end. Berndt would put the hammer down in his #11CT to steal the lead away from Williams with Jon McKennedy taking advantage of the backslide to take second. While McKenndy crept up on Berndt at the front, fans had their eye on Mike Christopher Jr. and Ron Silk as they made their way into the top five by lap thirty.
