Influencers Break Into Kentucky Speedway, Dozens Arrested: Sheriff’s Office

My local station WKYT reports that (s)ocial media claims that the Kentucky Speedway was “abandoned” sparked tresspassing that led to dozens of arrests, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.

It was several months that TikTokInstagram and Facebook influencers broke into the speedway, the sheriff’s office explained.

The influencers made videos with claims that Kentucky Speedway was abandoned, the sheriff’s office said.

That is not the case, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office emphasized.

Seekonk SpeedwaySEEKONK, Mass. — Just five weeks remain in the 2025 Fast Friday and NASCAR racing season at Seekonk Speedway, and this weekend, it’s the final tune-up before the race for the championship begins in September. The fields will be set for the Sunoco Drive For The Cup, with the top six drivers in the championship standings at the end of the August 22-23 events advancing. Many battles are tight – with the decision coming down to the final laps. All races this weekend are regular distance.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Kaden HoneycuttCRAFTSMAN Truck Series rookie Kaden Honeycutt goes into his first Playoff appearance in rather unusual circumstances. The talented 22-year-old drove a truck for Niece Motorsports the first 16 weeks of the season and is now steering the No. 52 Halmar Friesen Racing Toyota for the Playoffs.

Honeycutt addressed the change in teams Tuesday and said he was optimistic going forward, driving the truck for the injured owner-driver Stewart Friesen.
