Barre, VT — This Friday, June 9th returns the promise of weekly asphalt short track racing to Central Vermont race fans and those who tune in around the world on FloRacing with Vermont Career Technical Centers Night presented by the Vermont Agency of Education. The annual Friday Night Special will be headlined by the return of the New England Supermodifed Series (NESS) and the return of the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will now headline Sunday of World Series weekend with their Sunoco World Series 150 presented by Budweiser and the Outlaw Open Modified will now compete with the new $10,000-to-Win Open Modified Sunoco 100 joining the Saturday, October 8th program alongside the PASS Super Late Models and American-Canadian Tour.

CLAREMONT, N.H. – Following 150 laps at Claremont Motorsports Park, Doug Coby scored a ninth-place finish in the 10th NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race of the season. Driving the famed No. 7NY for Tommy Baldwin Racing, Coby qualified 17th, but worked his way through the field during the Clash at Claremont to score a top-10 finish.
