Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America Raises $1.8 Million for Victory Junction

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 18, 2024 – The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America today announced it raised nearly $1.8 million after completing its 28^th Anniversary Ride, which took place May 4 – 10, 2024. Funds raised directly benefit Victory Junction – a camp in Randleman, North Carolina servicing children with chronic medical illnesses. The Ride’s donation supports summer camperships, building projects and maintenance programs – including the building and maintenance of the brand new Kyle Petty Charity Ride Water Park. (more…)

Thunder Road Postpones Governor’s Cup in Wake of Torrential Flooding Across Vermont

Barre, VT — Due to the severity of the flooding to our community, local businesses, racers and fans, Officials have postponed the 44th running of the Vermont Governor’s Cup by the Vermont Lottery originally scheduled for Thursday, July 13th. With well over 100 roads washed out across the area, along with flooding in homes, businesses and Thunder Road’s own office building in downtown Barre, Officials postponed the event to allow people the necessary time to assess their situations and plan accordingly.
