Jason Corliss Dominates Thunder Road EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic Against Invading Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour

Barre, VT – Perfect weather greeted the race fans and the over 120 teams on hand Sunday afternoon for the 47th EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road. An incredible 37 of those teams were Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams, ready to dig deep all day long for a shot at just thirty starting positions.

Thunder Road stars Christopher Pelkey and Jason Corliss, along with current ACT point leader Raphael Lessard and former champion Jimmy Hebert all earned one of four heat race victories to kick off Sunday’s afternoon showcase. Returning for two more qualifying rounds, former winner D.J. Shaw and defending Milk Bowl victor Marcel Gravel split the two consolation events while Stephen Donahue ran away with the B-Feature win.

Against All Odds: Dean Lambros Becomes Stafford Speedway’s 700th Different Feature Winner

(Stafford Springs, CT)—As Stafford Speedway approached the historic milestone of its 700th different feature winner, few would have guessed that 20-year-old SK Light rookie Dean Lambros would be the one to etch his name into the record books. Entering the 2025 season, Lambros had made just three starts in the SK Light division, with a best finish of tenth. His racing background consisted mostly of go-karts, Legend Cars with the Korner family and CJ D’Addario of 860 Motorsports, and a handful of races in formula-style cars—hardly the typical résumé of a driver expected to reach Victory Lane so early in their modified career. But Lambros defied the odds on June 27th. Driving Joey Ferrigno’s #67 Wicked Powersports / Skip Barber Racing School modified, he claimed his first SK Light win, and the 700th feature victory in Stafford history, in only his ninth career start.

It was the first of who knows how many times for this unique father-and-son moment. They enjoyed some trash talking as part of a historic night of a race against each other.

The wife — who’s also the mom — was there to cheer them both on and even admitted a little favoritism.

JB Fortin Ready To Defend 2021 Islip 300 Victory Against Tough Field Saturday At Riverhead Raceway

AUSTIN, Texas (October 17, 2020) – Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is proud to announce Race Against Dementia (RAD) as the featured charity for the 2022 Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix and the Circuit’s 10^th anniversary. RAD is a non-profit created by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart, OBE in 2016. Sir Jackie Stewart, OBE helped showcase the first USGP held at COTA in 2012.
