BRASELTON, Georgia – Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing teams and Mercedes-AMG completed a perfect six-for-six IMSA GT Daytona (GTD) class 2024 championship sweep Saturday in the season-ending Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Winward Racing’s steady run to eighth place as the highest finishing Mercedes-AMG GT3 of the three competing in Saturday’s 10-hour race put the final touch on a dominating season for the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Mercedes-AMG that led the team, driver and manufacturer standings all year after a season-long performance that was the best overall in the four-class IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship series. NASCAR Xfinity Series Following the Yellow Brick Road All the Way to Kansas Speedway

The NASCAR Xfinity Series wrapped up the regular season last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway and will now be kicking off the 2024 Playoffs at Kansas Speedway with the Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday, September 28 at 4 p.m. ET on The CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio – the Round of 12 opener.

Kansas Speedway, located just outside of Kansas City, Kansas, is a 1.5-mile track with variable banking in the turns (17 to 20 degrees). It has hosted 24 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, producing 18 different race winners and 17 different pole winners.

Only two of the Kansas Xfinity races have been won from the pole or first starting position, most recently by Kyle Busch in 2016. Not only is Busch the last driver to win from the pole, but he also holds the record for most wins (four), top fives (eight), laps led (544), and is tied with Justin Allgaier for most top 10s at 10 each.

Crank-up the amplifiers and tune the steel-guitars because NASCAR is rumbling to Tennessee’s Music City this weekend for Sunday’s Ally 400 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90) at Nashville Superspeedway. The unique D-shaped, concrete oval that stretches 1.33-miles, is the longest concrete surface track on the 2024 schedule and will have drivers and teams two-stepping to find the perfect set-up for their cars this weekend.
