Racing America Announces Broadcast and Production Plan for 2026 Trans Am Series Season

CHARLOTTE (February 23, 2026) — Racing America is excited to announce more details regarding the broadcast and production of the 2026 season of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli. Beginning with the Racing America season opener at Sebring International Raceway on March 1, fans will be treated to an elevated live broadcast production, while maintaining the spirit and core excitement that the series’ fans have enjoyed for years.

This season, events will be broadcast for free on RacingAmerica.TV, the Racing America 24/7 Streaming Channel (available on The Roku Channel, My Free DirecTV, LG Channels and PLEX), as well as on the official Trans Am Series YouTube channel (@TheTransAmSeries). Internationally, broadcasts will air on REV TV in Canada.

Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America Announces 30th Anniversary Ride Route and Overnight Stops

The 30^th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride will take place from May 1 – May 9, 2026, starting in Sonoma, California, and ending in Charlotte, North Carolina, crossing 11 states in just nine days.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., February 19, 2026 – Former NASCAR driver and current racing analyst Kyle Petty today officially announced the complete route and overnight stops for the 30^th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America (KPCRAA). For the milestone edition, the 30^th Anniversary KPCRAA will truly cross the United States, starting in Sonoma, California, on May 1, 2026, and concluding in Charlotte, North Carolina, on May 9, 2026.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Three of the teams expected to vie for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) title all took the wraps off their updated 2026 challengers this week.

On Sunday, Acura Meyer Shank Racing went first for its No. 60 and No. 93 Acura ARX-06 cars. The No. 60 has its third different livery since last year’s Rolex 24.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The field is set to launch the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, first with today’s release of the entry list for next week’s Roar Before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. As this test is mandatory for all teams participating in the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the entry list for the Roar should look substantially the same as the entry list for the race when it is released next week.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the fifth consecutive year, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will open its new season with a capacity grid set to run the Rolex 24 At Daytona. The full field of 61 cars set to contest the 64th running has been revealed with roughly six weeks to go until cars hit the track for the mandatory Roar Before the Rolex 24 test January 16-18, then Rolex 24 At Daytona race weekend January 22-25.

50-Mile Trans Am TA Sprint Race Championship to Utilize TA2 Cars

CHARLOTTE (November 25, 2025) – The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli is excited to announce a new sprint-race competition debuting in 2026, the TA Sprint Championship. Designed to provide racers with the opportunity to compete under the Trans Am Series banner in shorter races and with reduced entry fees, the TA Sprint Championship will consist of TA2-based cars that can currently compete in the Trans Am Series, as well as older TA2 cars running in the SCCA Club Racing GT2 class, and other club racing platforms.
