Michael McDowell, Long John Silver’s Return to the High Banks of Daytona

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (August 21, 2024) – Michael McDowell and the No. 34 return to the high-banks of Daytona looking for that all important win to lock themselves in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. The 34 Ford Mustang Dark Horse will feature the return of Long John Silver’s for Saturday night’s event.

The 2021 Daytona 500 winner, McDowell is no stranger to the 2.5-mile superspeedway. He has three Top-5s and 8 Top-10 finishes at Daytona in his career, as well as a second-place qualifying effort at this year’s Daytona 500 back in February. (more…)

Grillo’s Pickles Hits the High Banks of the Daytona International Speedway with Todd Gilliland

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (August 21, 2024) – The NASCAR Cup Series makes their return to the Daytona (FL.) International Speedway. Grillo’s Pickles will go back-to-back with Todd Gilliland, partnering with the driver to make their debut at the track, after showcasing their green and white livery at the Michigan International Speedway.

For Gilliland, the historic Florida track shows much promise for him to capture his first win in the NASCAR Cup Series and lock himself into the 2024 playoffs, leading 16 laps at the 2.5-mile venue in this season’s Daytona 500. Cabral Doubles up at the High Banks of Hudson in NEMA Sunday Special

The Northeastern Midget Association rolled into the high banks of the Hudson International Speedway this past Saturday evening.  It was the first time the full midgets visited Hudson in nearly 20 years, and the second time this season for the LItes.  Seven-time NEMA champion, Randy Cabral of Kingston, MA, dominated the evening winning both the Lite and NEMA portions of the show.  Cabral extended his historic run, winning a feature event in the last 22 consecutive seasons – a mark that surpassed Dave Humphrey’s fifteen consecutive seven years ago.
