Woodstock, NH — With last Friday being the deadline for drivers to renew their 2025 licenses for the upcoming season, so too came a pair of bombshells for the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models in 2026. For possibly the first time ever, the two defending four-cylinder champions of White Mountain and Thunder Road Speedbowl are both moving up to the Late Model class in a landmark battle for Rookie of the Year at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track this summer!

The convincing race-opening performance, which saw Hodenius lead the first 44 laps for more than hour, was the highlight of a weekend-long “no quit” showing at IMS by everyone on the Lone Star Racing team and its driving trio of Scott Andrews, Wyatt Brichacek and Hodenius.

Just five races remain in the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season as the series returns to historic Oswego Speedway in New York for the running of the Toyota Mod Classic 150 this Saturday night (8 p.m. ET on FloRacing).

Saturday’s race marks the Modified Tour’s 18th visit to Oswego, with the first four visits occuring in 1988. Brian Ross captured the first two checkered flags at the track, with Mike McLaughlin and George Kent Jr. capturing the next two at the 0.625-mile oval.
