The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, one of the premier and most-beloved street races in North America, has been acquired by Penske Entertainment, officials announced on Thursday, Nov. 14 — with representatives from both organizations describing the purchase as a way to further invest in the motorsports event.
Following the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series in a double-header, action-packed Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the NASCAR Xfinity Series sets its sights on the Credit One NASCAR AMEX Credit Card 300 on October 26 at 3:30 p.m. ET on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio – the second race in the Playoffs’ Round of 8.
The 1.5-mile South Florida track, Homestead-Miami Speedway, has hosted 30 NASCAR Xfinity Series races since the inaugural event in 1995, producing 23 different race winners and almost as many pole winners (21).

LONG BEACH, California (April 19, 2024) — The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA) announced its 2025 Induction Class today at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. The 37th Motorsports Hall of Fame of America Induction Celebration presented by Toyota Racing, which will formally present the “Class of ’25” into the Hall of Fame of ALL motorsports, will be held in the MSHFA’s home in Daytona Beach, Florida, on March 10 -11 of 2025. The DAYTONA 500 is fast approaching, and the racing experience has taken off at Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB). Race fans and other airport visitors flying into Daytona Beach will have plenty of selfie opportunities including the No. 43 Daniel Dye race truck, a NEW Daytona International Speedway race car in baggage claim, and bright LED welcome signs.

Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is the first driver to earn a spot in the Championship 4 Round with his victory last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, leaving three positions still up for grabs heading into Sunday.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series kicked off the Playoffs Round of 8 last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a race that saw JR Motorsports driver Josh Berry take the checkered flag and secure his spot in the Championship 4 Round for the first-time in his career. The NASCAR Xfinity Series now heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Contender Boats 300 to keep the Playoffs rolling. Drivers will fill the grid on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 4:30 p.m. ET on the USA Network, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
