Tony Stewart went to the Stewart-Haas Racing shop a couple of weeks ago and saw as many people as he could a month before the team shuts down.
“Knowing that when I left the building there, here’s some of those people I’ve known for 16 years, and I may never, ever see them again, unfortunately,” Stewart said on “Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour” podcast. “I don’t know that it’s even bittersweet. This weekend at Homestead, Bubba Wallace and 23XI Racing will be leading a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Alongside Bubba, 27 other drivers across 11 organizations will carry the name of a family over the passenger door this weekend to celebrate and recognize the work that RMHC does around the world to help families in need. Since opening the first house in Philadelphia on Oct. 15, 1974, RMHC now supports millions of families every year in over 60 countries and regions around the world.

PHOENIX (Oct. 23, 2024) – Phoenix Raceway announced today that Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time, will serve as the Honorary Pace Car Driver for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, Nov. 10.
As a roadgoing vehicle, the Chevy Camaro is officially dead. The final example of the muscle car rolled off the assembly line at GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on December 14th, 2023, but there’s still some life left in the nameplate, at least as far as motorsports goes. NASCAR Chevy teams will continue to field “zombie” Camaro race cars, which, as it turns out, might not be called Camaros at all. (more…)
