Excitement Building for 40th All American 400 Weekend November 1-3, 2024

(Nashville, TN) Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, located at The Fairgrounds Nashville in downtown Nashville, TN, is preparing for its crown jewel event for a 40th time. The Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 weekend is set for Friday-Sunday, November 1-3, 2024. Each of the three days will be action packed, with something for every race fan.
Action begins on Friday, November 1 with Championship Night for the ¼-mile classes. Six different feature events are set to take on the tight confines of the ¼-mile track to battle it out for the final points night of the season. Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, Pest Doctor Front Runners, US Air Force Legends, and CP Race Wear Bandoleros will all race. (more…)
Porsche Penske Motorsport Switches up Its Driver Squad for the 2025 Season
- Two regular drivers pilot the works-Porsche 963 in IMSA and WEC
- Julien Andlauer signs on as the new works driver in WEC
- Andlauer/Christensen and Estre/Vanthoor contest the WEC
- Campbell/Jaminet and Nasr/Tandy tackle IMSA
Porsche is tweaking its Porsche Penske Motorsport works team driver lineup for the 2025 season. In contrast to the 2024 season, now just two drivers will regularly contest the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Former Porsche Junior Julien Andlauer from France has been promoted to the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer’s works driver squad for next year. Three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer from Germany and four-time IMSA Champion Dane Cameron will leave the successful Porsche 963 programme after their contracts expire at the end of the year. Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki and Porsche Motorsport have agreed to conclude their collaboration after eleven years. (more…)

Toyota GAZOO Racing Unites with Toyota North American Motorsports
Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) has announced that its racing division, Toyota Racing, will formally become Toyota Gazoo Racing North America prior to the start of the 2025 motorsports season.
All Toyota motorsports efforts in 2025 will compete under the global Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) banner. TRD, U.S.A., a subsidiary of TMNA, will continue its technical and engineering support across Toyota motorsports efforts throughout the U.S. (more…)
Sunoco Support Brings Mazda MX-5 Cup Martinsville Purse To Over $60,000
Excitement continues to build for the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin’s first-ever oval race at Martinsville Speedway on October 26. The anticipation isn’t the only thing building, however, as Sunoco has stepped up to add prize money and bring the total purse to $63,000.
The Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup regular season came to a close last week with champion Gresham Wagner receiving a check for $250,000 and Rookie of the Year Westin Workman earning $80,000. Now, Mazda MX-5 Cup drivers can look forward to the possibility of winning even more money at the Martinsville non-points race. (more…)

Hailie Deegan Moving to Indy NXT for 2025 Racing Season
After making her way through the ranks of dirt racing and stock car racing, Hailie Deegan will shift her focus to open-wheel racing in 2025, competing in INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports.
Deegan will drive the No. 38 entry for the full 14-race calendar of INDY NXT, the INDYCAR development series. Deegan, 23, becomes the fifth confirmed driver for HMD Motorsports, joining teammates Caio Collet, Josh Pierson, Tommy Smith and Bryce Aron and will join her teammates at the Chris Griffis Memorial Test on Friday, Oct. 18 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Wright Motorsports Petit Le Mans Podium Hopes Dashed in Final Hour Incident
BATAVIA, Ohio. (October 14, 2024) – Fresh off the high of securing the Fanatec GT World Challenge America championship title and winning the Indianapolis 8 Hour, Wright Motorsports entered Petit Le Mans with high expectations for a strong finish to the season. Unfortunately, their hopes of celebrating on the podium at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta were shattered in the final hour. An incident with less than one hour remaining in the ten-hour IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race sidelined the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R with terminal damage. The contact ended an impressive first season in the championship for drivers Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer. (more…)
