SEEKONK, Mass. — Including spectators, competitors and officials, thousands packed into the third-mile bullring that is Seekonk Speedway on Sunday to witness the fourth race of the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season.
Not a single person doubted the prospect of Matt Hirschman delivering yet another dominant performance at the Massachusetts short track, this time in the J&R Precast 150.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to the northeast this weekend for a trip to the famed Cement Palace of Seekonk Speedway.
Open to the public since 1946, the Venditti family have overseen a proud, vibrant racing culture at Seekonk that includes Modified competition. The list of names who have won a weekly Modified Seekonk includes many of the discipline’s greatest drivers like Bugsy Stevens, Ron Bouchard and Geoff Bodine, among others.

Barre, VT — The third season for the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown is set to be one of the most exciting in series’ history. Each earning one win, Tom Carey III and ACT Rookie of the Year Kasey Beattie lead the standings with Carey’s dominant win at the Thompson Sunoco World Series giving him a twenty-point buffer over the young star. Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour is set to return to Massachusetts’s lone paved oval, the Seekonk Speedway, for the second time this year next Saturday, November 2. The Haunted Hundred marks the final event of the 2024 season with both the international championship on the line as well as the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown, Saturday’s showcase has plenty of pressure for the invading ACT Tour stars.
