SONOMA, California (March 25, 2025) – GMG Racing begins another season of multi-tiered SRO America competition this weekend at Sonoma Raceway where four GMG Racing entries across four classes in three different racing series compete in the season-opening race weekend. The duo will once again take on the competitive Pro-Am class, building on their strong performances from the previous seasons. Steller Motorsport completed the two-day Prologue at the Circuit Paul Ricard circuit ahead of the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe season, and confirmed an entry into this year’s Sprint Cup alongside its endurance campaign.
The team had already enjoyed a successful preseason testing programme, spending days at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Circuit Paul Ricard in February to better understand the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R cars it is racing in 2025. This testing time proved to be even more important, with the official Prologue days the French circuit hampered by inclement weather. (more…)
