Circuit Of The Americas To Change Course Layout For Cup And XFINITY Races
The fifth running of the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) season will arrive with a distinctive new look and feel for both drivers and fans alike at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).
The EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, the season’s third race set for Sunday, March 2 (2:30 p.m. CT, TV: FOX, Radio: PRN, SiriusXM), will shift from COTA’s 3.41-mile, 20-turn Full Course layout to the facility’s equally challenging 2.3-mile, 20-turn National Course. Change Of Racing Plans Nets Timmy Solomito Second Riverhead Raceway Modified Win Of 2023
Heading into the racing weekend Timmy Solomito of Islip and his family were planning on competing in the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event in Connecticut, however circumstances beyond Timmy’s control prevented that road trip. With a car ready to race at the Solomito family shop, they instead made the short jaunt to Riverhead Raceway, a decision that paid dividends when Timmy won the 50-lap NASCAR Modified feature at his home track.

(Aug. 30, 2022) – NASCAR and Riverhead Raceway today announced the September NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race will now be known as the Eddie Partridge 256 and will feature a format change in tribute to the late Eddie Partridge, the long-time Riverhead Raceway and team owner who passed away last year.
