Montecalvo Ready To Conquer Season Finale At Petit Le Mans

Wednesday, September 28, 2022 – Highlands, NJ – Vasser Sullivan driver Frankie Montecalvo is ready to take on the final round of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship – Petit Le Mans. Montecalvo will contest the ten-hour endurance race with co-drivers Aaron Telitz and Richard Heistand.

The race marks the 25^th Anniversary of the Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Montecalvo has scored multiple top-five finishes at Petit Le Mans and a third place in 2021 but has yet to bring home a win. That’s something he’s hoping to change this weekend. (more…)

Concrete Crunch: NASCAR Cup Series Prepares For Nashville Superspeedway

After a weekend of rest, the competitors in the NASCAR Cup Series prepare for one of the schedule’s most unique tracks – Nashville Superspeedway – with the Ally 400 on June 26 at 5 p.m. ET on NBC, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90). Cup competitors are challenged with grappling the D-shaped, concrete oval that stretches 1.33-miles on Sunday – the longest concrete surface track on the 2022 schedule.

Joey Logano has proven he can win on dirt or concrete at BMS

Joey Logano of Middletown, CT authored a page of NASCAR history in March by winning the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Before the unique event, the veteran driver admitted that he wasn’t sure what to expect from the first Cup race held on a dirt surface since 1970.
