Thompson Speedway Hosts A Pivotal World Series 150 For The Modified Tour This Sunday

NASCAR Whelen Modified TourWith only two races remaining on the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour schedule, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park welcomes back the series for the third and final time this year for Sunday’s World Series 150 (4:30 p.m. ET on FloRacing and The NASCAR Channel).

Austin Beers enters Sunday’s race with a 13-point advantage on Justin Bonsignore in the Modified Tour standings. Every position matters for both drivers as Beers looks to inch closer to his first series championship and Bonsignore looks to make up ground in his quest for his fifth career crown.

Cars and Coffee Darien is the only event of its type anywhere in the world with a direct connection to the Cannonball races of the 1970s. Known for being a family-friendly event, it is quite common to see multi-generational families, and young parents with strollers walking about. This month, our theme is Marques from Spain, France, Sweden the Pacific Rim (Japan and Korea)

We’ve had a great season. Seven events under our 2024 belt, and only one had any rain (so far). Will our luck hold? Well, it IS November and this IS New England, so anything is possible.

Bring what you’ve got and don’t worry about whether it’s cool or not. As long as you like it, that’s all that matters. As usual, all makes, models and years are always accepted. Our events are about the people and not just the cars. (more…)

If you made it out to Goodwives for last Sunday’s 2024 Cannonball reunion, you were treated to another great show. Cannonballers Pam Yates, Brock Yates Jr and John Miceli were there. Dennis Tretter brought the second Cannonball Challenger, and several of the C2C racers came with their cars. Pete Boccarossa from Bocca Motors came down with one of his Lamborghini race cars and opened it up for anyone to climb into for photos. And John C brought a classic red Ferrari 365 GTB “Daytona” that has been in his family since it was new. (more…)

Stafford Speedway and FloRacing Extend Live Streaming Partnership Through 2028

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway and FloRacing have agreed to extend their live streaming partnership through the 2028 season.

Stafford and FloRacing announced a groundbreaking partnership in 2021 with Stafford becoming the first pavement track on the streaming platform. Since the partnership began in 2021, weekly racing action from the Connecticut half-mile has been consumed by thousands of race fans throughout the country.

N. Woodstock, NH — On a cool Sunday afternoon in the Pemigewasset Valley of New Hampshire, Thunder filled the foothills to the tune of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models. A special Father’s Day edition of racing at White Mountain Motorsports Park proved just the right medicine after a week of unseasonably constant rain in the Granite State.
