The 2024 Season of Cars and Coffee Darien fast approaching (April 14th isn’t that far away) we have some additional event updates to tell you about.
Just updated: Dates and Themes
Just to change thinks up and add a little value for anyone who exhibits, we’ll be doing theme nights. Dates and times for the themes are listed below:
Jul 14 – Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Customs
Aug 11 – Chrysler Cars and Mopars
Sep 8 – GM – all makes and models
Oct 13 – Italian, French and Spanish Cars
Nov 10 – Japanese, Korean (and anything we left out)
There’s additional detail on all these events is on the website – click on any of the links to see which Marques will be participating. And don’t forget to grab your tickets and passes while you’re there.
This year there will be trophies
This year, we’re going to do something a little different and award trophies at every event. Events are going to have a theme this year, and if you bring a car and it’s theme-eligible, it’s going to be eligible to win a trophy.
For example, if you bring your BMW on German car day, you’re automatically in the running for one of 3 (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) Best of Show trophies for that day. If you come on German car day and you bring a Ford, you can’t wint a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Best of Show theme trophy, but you might win an Overall Best of Show trophy.
