Chase Elliott’s body language as he leaned against his car on pit road following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway was unmistakable.

He was understandably spent after a physical day in the heat and humidity driving 160 laps around the iconic and super-demanding 2.5-mile triangular-shaped track. And the 2020 series champion climbed out of his No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet simultaneously encouraged with his fifth-place showing, but also wanting more.

Vallée-Jonction, QC — The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour rolled into Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday morning, bringing with them a second broken record in car count for the 2025 season. After setting the original Late Model car count record of thirty-three for Chaudiere back in 2019, matching it again last year, thirty-six Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour pilots invaded the Beauce oval for the Claude Leclerc 150.

Three rounds of qualifying whittled the thirty-six prospects down to thirty starters for the big dance Saturday afternoon with St-Denis’ Patrick Laperle earning the pole position with an incredible +5 in Plus/Minus handicap procedures with Quebec City’s William Larue, running the #46VT livery for Brian Hoar, set up alongside with a +2.
