Hannah Bell, driver of the No. 05 Alliance Packaging Chevrolet eyes fourth straight top-10 in sixth Hickory Motor Speedway start in 2025
HICKORY, N.C.: With the feel of fall starting to emerge throughout North Carolina, Hannah Bell and her Performance Vehicle Works Racing team look to keep the temperature hot on the track.
Each race at the historic Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway has provided Bell with more confidence and a stronger connection to her race car, progress that has consistently put her in contention for solid results.
While her most recent outing fell just short of delivering a third consecutive top-five finish at the legendary half-mile oval, her sixth-place effort still showcased her ability to adapt, improve and battle some of the best in the local ranks.
Spending most of the season flying under the radar while remaining a solid contender, Bell has steadily built a reputation for consistency and resilience.
With the 2025 campaign winding down, her focus has shifted to leaving a lasting mark on the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tour at Hickory Motor Speedway — and carrying momentum into 2026.
“This season has been a huge learning curve, but also really rewarding,” said Bell. “We’ve worked hard to build speed and consistency, and I feel like every race we’re getting stronger.
“Hickory has taught me a lot, and I want to finish the year showing that we belong up front. The goal is to keep that momentum going into 2026 and make sure people know the Performance Vehicle Works Racing team is here to compete.”
Despite battling through mechanical woes earlier in the year, the Performance Vehicle Works Racing team — backed by Alliance Packaging — has shown grit and determination, turning challenges into valuable experience that has only made them stronger.
“The team has worked hard to overcome some tough mechanical setbacks, and that’s given me even more confidence in what we can achieve together,” added Bell.
“We’ve had a lot of good runs, but now the focus is on turning that into podiums and hopefully a win before the season ends.”
For the 27-year-old, 2025 has been less about chasing trophies and more about laying the groundwork for long-term success.
By embracing the challenges of a new Late Model program and investing time into learning from her team, Bell has used the summer months as a chance to reset, adapt and steadily build her confidence each time she climbs into the No. 05 Alliance Packaging Chevrolet.
“For me, this season has really been about improving my craft,” she said.
“The strong finishes are rewarding, but what means the most is knowing that the hard work behind the scenes is starting to show on the track.
“That growth gives me confidence that we’re moving in the right direction as a team.”
For Bell, the hope now is turning progress into payoff.
After a season spent sharpening her skills and finding consistency, she’s determined to convert that growth into a breakthrough podium finish before the year comes to a close.
“This season has been about laying the foundation and learning every week, but now I want to take what I’ve learned and make it count,” said Bell.
“Finishing the year with a podium would be huge for me and for the team, and it’s exactly the kind of momentum we want to carry into 2026.”
With only three races left on the docket — September 13, October 11 and the November 8 season finale — Bell is determined to make the most of every lap.
“These last three races are really important to me,” said Bell.
“Of course, I want to be competitive and put myself in a position to fight for a win, but just as important is continuing to grow and make progress every time we’re on track.
“Every lap, every finish, it all adds up. I know the work we’re putting in now with Performance Vehicle Works is going to pay off, and I want to close out 2025 strong so that we can hit the ground running and be even better prepared for 2026.”
Bell’s Limited Late Model schedule continues to be supported this weekend by her long-term partner, Alliance Packaging.
Racing begins at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday night, September 13, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on FloRacing.com.
