NASCAR Weekly Series Cook Out Madhouse Classic to be Rescheduled for Later Date, Cook Out Clash Remains Scheduled on Sunday, Feb. 1

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 29, 2026) – The Cook Out Clash events on Saturday, Jan. 31, including NASCAR Cup Series practice, qualifying, and heat races, have been postponed out of an abundance of caution due to expected winter weather. The Cook Out Madhouse Classic featuring the NASCAR Weekly Series’ Modified and Sportsman divisions has been postponed. A future date will be announced.

FOX Sports Opens 2026 NASCAR Season with The Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on FOX

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – FOX Sports kicks off its 26^th season of NASCAR coverage with The Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Sunday, Feb. 1, beginning at 6:00 PM ET on FOX, FOX Deportes, FOX One and the FOX Sports app.

Mike Joy, FOX NASCAR’s play-by-play announcer since 2001, embarks on his 26^th season with the network alongside analysts Clint Bowyer, marking his sixth season in the FOX broadcast booth, and 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick in his third year. Also returning to the FOX NASCAR broadcast crew are analyst Larry McReynolds, also entering his 26^th season at FOX, and veteran pit reporters Jamie Little (12^th season) and Regan Smith (ninth).

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (July 9, 2025) – Today, NASCAR announced the Cook Out Clash will return to Bowman Gray Stadium as the opening exhibition event for the 2026 season. Following the sold-out success of this year’s Cook Out Clash, the first NASCAR Cup Series exhibition race of the 2026 season will return to the historic venue on Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1.
