DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – DragonSpeed – runners-up for the Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) Drivers and Teams championships for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, as well as three-time Rolex 24 At Daytona class winners and 24 Hours of Le Mans Pro/Am victors in Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) – is shifting gears again for 2026.
A move to the Pro/Am GTD class in IMSA will see DragonSpeed renew its ties with General Motors to field a new Corvette Z06 GT3.R, the model which claimed this year’s GTD PRO title. The team will take delivery of its chassis later this month, with private testing to commence shortly thereafter.
