Carson Hocevar won the Cup Race at Talladega. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 18th while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT had another bad day with a 39th place finish.
In the O’Reily Series it was Corey Day who went to Victory Lane. Patrick Emerling, of LI, NY was 16th with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ending up 31st.
A Menard ARCA race was also on the weekend card with Andy Jankowiak of Buffalo, NY winning that one. Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA came in fifth.
Gabe Brown Back on Top in Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour with New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 Win

Lee, NH — Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour heat winners Kaiden Fisher and Gabe Brown earned the front row of the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 by each earning a +5 in qualifying action. After suffering with ignition issues all of Friday practice, Fisher made his presence known by leading the early circuits before Jimmy Renfrew Jr. got around him on the lap 7 restart. Renfrew kept pace ahead of the pack while the 32-car field spread out, easing the pressure on their Hoosier Racing Tires against the rough, aged surface of Lee USA Speedway.

The announcement came Sunday morning during Fox’s pre-race NASCAR Cup Series broadcast from Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, where both Bowyer and McMurray work as broadcast analysts.

Taylor Gray won the O’Reilly Series event with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT placing 30th.

In the Indy Car race at Arlington, TX had Kyle Kirkwood got to Victory Lane with Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT finishing in 17th .

Tyler Reddick won the Cup race with Ryan Preece coming in 13th and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ending up 34th. Justin Allgaier took the O’Reilly Series with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT coming in 12th. The Craftsman Trucks saw Corey Heim take that one while Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA was eighth while Corey LaJoie ended up 21st. Corey’s dad is Randy LaJoie from Norwalk, CT who also is a two-time O’ Reilly Champion.
