Lou Modestino Track TalkTyler Redick won the Cup race.   Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in ninth, while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished 18th.

Sheldon  Creed won the O’Reilly/Xfinity Series Division race.  Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA ended up 24th while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT was 25th.

In the Craftsman Trucks It was Kyle Busch who went to Victory Lane with Gio Ruggiero coming in third while  Stewart Friedman of NJ came in 20th.

Results From Northeastern NASCAR Competitors At Daytona Last Weekend

Lou Modestino Track TalkTyler Redick won the Cup race.   Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came in third while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT  ended  up 25th.
Austin Hill won the O’ReIlly Auto Parts event.  Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 11th with Patrick Emerling of LI, NY finishing 13th.   Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA ended his day in 37th.
In the Craftsman Truck Series, Chandler Small won that one.  Gio Ruggiero finished second while Stewart Friesen of NJ ended up tenth.  Not so lucky was Corey LaJoie.  Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT and was the winner of two NASCAR Championship in the Xfinity Series.
Also on the  menu was an ARCA race with Gio Ruggiero also taking that one while Andy Jankowiak of Buffalo, NY cracked the top ten.

How Did Northeastern Competitors Do In The Bowman Gray Clash?

Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up taking the Checkered Flag in the Clash at Bowman Gray while Middletown, Ct’s  Joey Logano took the 11th place.  Both drivers hung on to finish putting up with clear weather which turned into the worst storm that can be described as a finish in what’s called a Nor’easter,  if you live anywhere chose to the City of Boston, MA.

CONCORD, NC (February 5, 2026) – It was worth the wait for Roush Fenway Keselowski (RFK) Racing. After a snow storm blanketed the Winston Salem, NC area January 30, forcing the postponement of the Cook Out Clash from Sunday to Wednesday, the three car RFK team came to Bowman Gray Stadium with a blizzard of its own. Ryan Preece scored his first career Cup Series victory while Chris Buescher and Corey LaJoie held nothing back.
