INDIANAPOLIS, July 15, 2025 – Trailblazing female athlete Katherine Legge will return to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway July 26-27 for a milestone weekend, entering both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series races with Live Fast Motorsports. Supported by Desnuda Organic Tequila and Indiana-based venture studio Droplight for the events, this marks Legge’s first appearance at the Brickyard since racing in the 2024 Indianapolis 500.

Here’s How the Northeast Drivers Performed At Sonoma And Iowa

On Sunday, Shane Van Gisbergen won the Cup race with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing ninth .  Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended his day in 12th.

In the Xfinity Series, on Saturday, it was Connor Zilisch who scored the win.  Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 23rd while Kris Wright ended his day in 29th.  Wright drives for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our.

On the Indy Car scene Alex Palou won the Iowa race.  Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT ended his day in 15th.

Trackhouse Racing Hires Longtime Industry Veteran Todd Meredith As President of Racing Operations

Concord, North Carolina – Trackhouse Racing announced today it has hired longtime industry veteran Todd Meredith to serve as its President of Racing Operations.

Team owner and founder Justin Marks said Meredith began his duties on Monday, marking a strengthening of the team’s leadership.

The team’s existing competition leaders will remain in their roles and report to Meredith.

After finishing second to Connor Zilisch in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race, van Gisbergen was back on top on a pleasant Sunday afternoon in wine country, winning the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 10, 2025) – A diverse motorsports career that began more than 40 years ago and continues to this day earned racing team owner and California native Rick Ware a place in the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
