First Look: Chase Elliott’s 2025 ‘DESI9N TO DRIVE’ Paint Scheme

Chase Elliott returns to EchoPark Speedway (formerly Atlanta Motor Speedway) with another “DESI9N TO DRIVE” paint scheme, an initiative taken by the Chase Elliott Foundation in partnership with NAPA Auto Parts and Hendrick Motorsports to feature a design by a pediatric cancer patient for Elliott’s No. 9 Chevrolet and his fire suit.

See the design for his 2025 edition before it hits the track in Saturday’s Quaker State 400 (7 p.m. ET, TNT Sports/truTV, HBO Max, PRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

How Did New Englanders Do At Pocono This Past Weekend?

Chase Briscoe won the Cup race. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished eighth while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came in 16th.

Connor Zilisch won the Xfinity race. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finished 13th with Patrick Emerling of Long Island, NY coming in 30^th.Kris Wright made it to 37th place. Wright drives the Cape Cod owned Chris and Mary Our entry, father and daughter, that reside in Chatham, MA.

The Truck race was won by Layne Riggs with Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA coming in 11th. Patrick Emerling finished 15th.

Also, the Indy Cars were at Elkhart Lake, WI where Alex Palou won that one. Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT came in third place, his best finish ever.

Note: We and others are still very unhappy with NASCAR about the last five “Flowing” broadcasts and the extra money to view it. That fact and many other things over the past years have turned off many NASCAR fans.

CHICAGO (June 24, 2025) – DePaul University is excited to announce a partnership with Spire Motorsports for the 2025 NASCAR Chicago Street Race. DePaul will serve as the primary sponsor of Michael McDowell’s No. 71 Chevrolet ZL1.

Michael Christopher, Jr. Wins CBYD Senator’s Cup; Varricchio, Hovey, Theriault, & Plemons Also Score Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway

The race served as the second of three legs of the TickMike.com Triple Crown and Michael Christopher, Jr. was the winner for the second consecutive week. Christopher’s victory was also his third consecutive victory in the CBYD Senator’s Cup 50-lap feature event. Other feature winners on the night were Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Kyle Theriault in the Limited Late Model feature, and Aaron Plemons in the Street Stock feature. Chase Elliott’s body language as he leaned against his car on pit road following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway was unmistakable.

He was understandably spent after a physical day in the heat and humidity driving 160 laps around the iconic and super-demanding 2.5-mile triangular-shaped track. And the 2020 series champion climbed out of his No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet simultaneously encouraged with his fifth-place showing, but also wanting more.
