Allmendinger to Drive the No. 16 Black’s Tire Service Chevy at Martinsville Speedway
Lexington, N.C. (March 24, 2025) – Kaulig Racing and Black’s Tire Service (BTS) announce an expansion of their partnership for the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway this Sunday. AJ Allmendinger will drive the No. 16 Black’s Tire Service Chevy for the NASCAR Cup Series race.
Hill to Pilot the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet in Limited Starts; Andy Street to Crew Chief the Entry
WELCOME, N.C. (March 24, 2025) – Richard Childress Racing announced today that Austin Hill and United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, will return to NASCAR Cup Series competition for a limited schedule in 2025. In the first of five starts, Hill will drive the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet at the historic Darlington Raceway on April 6. Andy Street will crew chief the part-time entry and make his debut calling the shots in the Cup Series.

SEBRING, Florida (March 21, 2025) – “Deflated” but not down, the No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 team and co-drivers Dan Knox, Scott Andrews and Eric Filgueiras left the 12 Hours of Sebring last Saturday motivated for the final three rounds of the 2025 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup (IMEC) at Watkins Glen, Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (MRRA). The team and drivers turned in one of their best races since entering the IMEC GT Daytona (GTD) championship last year and missed out on a likely top-five or better finish only because the No. 80 Mercedes-AMG GT3 suffered a cut tire with just 44 minutes remaining in the 73rd running of America’s oldest major sports car race. HOMESTEAD – The NASCAR Cup Series returns east to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 (3 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) – the weekend’s NASCAR tripleheader marking the first time since 2021 the series has competed on the South Florida track in the spring.
It remains to be seen if the 1.5-miler – popular among competitors – will race differently this weekend in the warm March Florida sun versus how it races in the Fall when the series typically visited more recently.
