Barre, VT — Finally greeted by a beautiful day of weather, Thunder Road opened its gates Sunday to an overflow crowd of fans ready to witness the greatest spectacle in auto racing; The 39th annual Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200. ‘The People’s Race’ was far from disappointing with ninety of the most ridiculous looking machines in the Green Mountain State each looking to tackle the Thunder Road highbanks for 200 laps.
Barre, VT — Less than 24 hours after Thunder Road officials posted the 2023 Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 Rules and Entry Form, Nick Deblois strolled into the Barre, Vermont office with the first official entry. After posting a third-place finish behind New Hampshire’s Alby Ovitt and Milton’s Richie Turner in last year’s edition of The People’s Race’, the Barre native is ready to keep the $3,000 check here at home in Central Vermont! Barre, VT — Braintree’s George Hoyt proved that steady and sure wins the race by triumphing in the 37th Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday, August 8. Hoyt inherited the lead after previous Enduro winner Richie Turner crashed out with less than 20 laps to go and bested the 118-car field for a $3,000 winner’s purse. (more…)

In the previous 64 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour races contested at Riverhead Raceway there was perhaps no more a popular winner then Eric Goodale of Riverhead when he topped the late Ted Christopher for the win June 28th, 2014. Eric who grew up roughly three miles from the historic quarter mile bullring was swarmed by family and friends after his first career WMT triumph. Saturday May 15th the 35-year old Goodale will come to the Miller Lite 200 at Riverhead as the early season WMT championship leader and is hopeful to repeat the scene from June of 2014. (more…)
