Zolder, Belgium – A 12-race journey, continuous twists and turns, and a truly thrilling finale: this is how we can summarize Max Lanza’s assault on the Challenger Trophy of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. The Rome-native driver fought like a lion until the last lap of the last race, defying the odds with extraordinary determination and grit. In the end, just 3 points – out of 340 for the winner – separated Lanza from the 2024 title, leaving him in third place in a season that was nonetheless very positive. (more…)
Oschersleben, Germania – It was a challenging weekend for Max Lanza in Germany, stage of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series SemiFinals. The Roman driver responded to difficult qualifying by securing a podium finish in the Challenger Trophy in Race 1, but in the second race he was forced to stop after just a few meters. Grobnik, Croatia – Max Lanza grabbed another Challenger Trophy podium in the last round of the 2022 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season, hosted by the spectacular Grobnik Circuit, Croatia.
The official European NASCAR series will feature six grand prix weekends for a total of 24 total championship races. The series will also hold two All-Star non-points events this season.
The 2023 season will unofficially kick off March 4-5 in Finland, in the breath-taking scenery of frozen lakes, where for the first time in history NASCAR cars will race on ice in the new NASCAR Arctic Ice Race. (more…)
