(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Jake Johnson and the #15 Lin’s Propane Trucks Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series team, racing at Stafford Speedway has been a mixed bag of results.  Prior to the 2025 season, Johnson had made five career starts at Stafford with a best finish of second in the 2022 NAPA Fall Final, but also three finishes outside the top-20.  Although Johnson and the #15 team have only made two starts in 2025, they seemed to have put their Stafford troubles behind them.  Johnson led almost half of the NAPA Spring Sizzler® in April before a crash on a restart left him with a 22nd place finish and they won the GAF Modified Masters 80 in July.  With their newfound success, Johnson and his team are looking forward to returning to Stafford on Saturday, September 27 for the NAPA Fall Final.

One driver looking forward to the race is Rich Hammann. Hammann is the defending champion of the Riley Generators 30 and he is looking to put his #28 Striebel Trucking machine back in NAPA Victory Lane for the second consecutive season.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Meghan Fuller has been one of the top SK Light competitors at Stafford Speedway this season with 4 top-5 and 5 top-10 finishes in 6 starts thus far. Fuller and the #2 Propane Plus team currently sit third in the points standings but one thing missing from their 2025 results is a victory. Fuller has been close to reaching NAPA Victory Lane this season with a second and third place finish among her 4 top-5 finishes. (Stafford Springs, CT)—When Stafford Speedway’s Late Model cars hit the track in 2025, one driver will be reaching a significant milestone.  Tom Fearn, driver of the #92 King Gray Coach Lines Chevrolet, will mark his 40th season of racing when he rolls out for the 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® on Saturday, April 26th.  Fearn began his career at Riverside Park Speedway during the 1985 season and kicked off his Stafford career in the 1988 Fall Final.

Max Zachem Eyes First Stafford Victory at 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway is set to kick off its 2025 racing season with the 53rd “Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® on April 26-27.  Max Zachem teamed up with the Prestige Motorsports team owned by Doug DiPisa towards the end of the 2023 season and he is looking to build on his best Stafford finish of third from last season.

“We have run about a dozen or more races together since the end of 2023 with multiple top-10’s and a few top-5’s,” said Zachem.  “Stafford, Waterford, Star, and Monadnock have all been great tracks for us and we all want to win badly.  We have a great bunch of guys where everyone has their job and everyone works well together.  We were able to jell together right out of the gate.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series Sets Its Eyes on Atlanta Motor Speedway

After dancing with the Lady in Black last weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to its second drafting track race in three weeks at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Focused Health 250 on Saturday, September 7 at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network, the NBC Sports App, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

The 1.54-mile track will be hosting its sixth race since its reconfiguration in 2022. Since then, Atlanta has produced five different pole winners but just three different race winners, none of which came from the first starting position.

Superspeedway ace Austin Hill has won half of the Xfinity races at Atlanta over the last three seasons, capturing the checkered flag at least once in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Aug. 21, 2024) – After an eight-week summer hiatus on the Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series schedule, TeamSLR makes a highly anticipated return to competition this weekend with drivers Barry Boes and Carson Kvapil ready to tackle the 3.4-mile, 11-turn Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International circuit during this weekend’s Mission Foods Watkins Glen SpeedTour.

It’s been highly anticipated because, despite the lengthy break in the points-paying national series schedule, TeamSLR and its M1 Racecars enjoyed shining moments on both coasts in the eight weeks since the series contested rounds seven and eight on back-to-back weekends June 22 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington and June 29 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
