Tickets On-Sale Now for the 2025 SMX World Championship Playoffs and Final

Charlotte, St. Louis, and Las Vegas track maps revealed

ELLENTON, Fla. (January 28, 2025) – Tickets are officially on sale for the 2025 SMX World ChampionshipTM Playoffs and Final. As previously announced by the SMX LeagueTM at the Anaheim Opener press conference, Playoff 1 will take place on Saturday, September 6 at zMAX Dragway, adjacent to Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. and Playoff 2 will take place on Saturday, September 13 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, MO. The SMX World Championship Final will return to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, September 20. (more…)

Arianna Casoli Confirms Her Presence in the NASCAR Brasil Series Final

The NASCAR Euro Series driver will be the first woman to compete in the Brazilian series, reinforcing the female role in motorsports. The stage that inaugurates the oval track of the Circuito dos Cristais (MG), unprecedented in Brazil, will be this weekend, between November 15th and 17th.

 Arianna Casoli, an Italian NASCAR Euro Series driver, is the confirmed guest to participate in the final stage of the NASCAR Brasil Series 2024 and will be the first woman to race in the competition’s history. The event, scheduled to take place between November 15th and 17th in Curvelo (Minas Gerais), will also mark the inauguration of the first 100% oval circuit in the country, within the Autódromo Circuito dos Cristais. We’ve had a great season. Seven events under our 2024 belt, and only one had any rain (so far). Will our luck hold? Well, it IS November and this IS New England, so anything is possible.

Bootie Barker Set to Call Final Race for No. 23 Team at Phoenix

Charles Denike to replace Barker, who will remain with 23XI, following season finale

Huntersville, N.C. (Oct. 30, 2024) – 23XI Racing announced today that veteran crew chief Bootie Barker will call his final race with Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 team at the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. Following the end of the season, Barker will be replaced by Charles Denike, the current crew chief for the No. 19 truck team at McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Barker will remain with 23XI and continue to work with the competition leadership team to prepare cars and strategize for races. His new role will be based at Airspeed.

BATAVIA, Ohio. (October 14, 2024) – Fresh off the high of securing the Fanatec GT World Challenge America championship title and winning the Indianapolis 8 Hour, Wright Motorsports entered Petit Le Mans with high expectations for a strong finish to the season. Unfortunately, their hopes of celebrating on the podium at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta were shattered in the final hour. An incident with less than one hour remaining in the ten-hour IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race sidelined the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R with terminal damage. Matt Hirschman Wins NAPA Fall Final Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Feature at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway welcomed the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series to the track for the $15,000 to win NAPA Fall Final.  Matt Hirschman scored a repeat victory in the race as he won the NAPA Fall Final last season and he took home the $15k winner’s check.

The NAPA Fall Final took the green flag with a stackup at the front of the pack as Mikey Flynn didn’t quite come up to speed that saw Ron Silk end his race in the turn 1 wall before a lap could be completed.

The next restart saw the same thing with polesitter Flynn not coming up to speed and he spun to bring the caution flag out before a lap could be put on the board. (more…)
