THOMPSON, Conn. – Early in Sunday’s Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, Doug Coby had the car to beat in the Mayhew Tools No. 10. Leading the entire first half of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour main event, Coby looked to be in control before the race continued under green all the way until the finish.

Sunday at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, the battle for the GTD class title came down to the final laps, and with a fourth-place finish, the Wright Motorsports Porsche finished as runner-up in the championship standings. N. Woodstock, NH — Following a rain-mandated change in schedule, the Pro All Stars Series and American-Canadian Tour Fall Foliage Doubleheader made up for the shift in spades. Both of New England’s top full fendered divisions unloaded thirty-two cars into the White Mountain pit area Saturday morning to compete at one of their favorite Northeast raceways.
While Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece is a part-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver, the David Gilliland Racing truck he drove is in the Owner Playoffs. His third-place finish at Kansas Speedway advanced the No. 17 Ford F-150 into the Round of Eight. (more…)
