Dakar Rally 2022: Star performers from the first week of action in Saudi Arabia
The 2022 Dakar Rally convoy clocked up more than 2,000km of racing over perilous terrain before arriving at the Rest Day. As competitors took a well earned day off from the track, the mechanics got busy tuning up the race vehicles for a second week of intense off-road action.

Eckelberg Named First Director of High School Racing Association
MADISON and LA CROSSE – The newly-created High School Racing Association has named Jonathan Eckelberg as its first director.
The High School Racing Association (HSRA) was started in 2020 as a combined effort between La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wis. and Madison International Speedway in Oregon, Wis. Co-founders are Chuck Deery and Gregg McKarns, who promote those two tracks respectively. The HSRA features high school-aged drivers in competition throughout the summer race season. (more…)

The Gaussin hydrogen truck entry for the Dakar Rally Dakar 2022 will be taking place in Saudi Arabia January 2-14 with an introductory short rally on day one followed by 12 grueling long-distance races with a total distance close to 5,000 mi. This year there might be good reason to watch the rally as there will be a hydrogen truck entry by Gaussin with sponsorship by Aramco.
