Andrés Pérez de Lara Joins Niece Motorsports for Remainder of 2025 Season

Salisbury, NC (August 11, 2025) – ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Mexico Challenge Series champion, Andrés Pérez de Lara, has inked a deal to complete the remainder of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) season with Niece Motorsports beginning this weekend at Richmond Raceway.

The latest addition to the organization’s driver lineup comes on the heels of Pérez de Lara’s former team, Spire Motorsports, announcing his permission to seek other opportunities outside of the No. 77 entry where he completed the first 17 races of the year.

Isabella Robusto Returns To Springfield IL Mile Aiming For Win

Springfield, IL August 8, 2025-Twenty-year old Isabella Robusto returns for her sophomore run at the ARCA Menard’s Allen Crowe 100 Sunday, August 17 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The South Carolina resident nearly became the first female winner of a major auto racing event on the Springfield Mile in 2024 when she started 19th and finished 2nd driving for the Venturini Team. She returns in 2025 chasing an ARCA title, currently fifth in points after twelve events with 8 top 10 finishes. She also pairs with the Venturini team in 2025 and will be one of the challengers, if not favorites to capture the Allen Crowe 100.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Races At The Glen For Third Time In Last 25 Years

For the first time in five years and only third time since 2000, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will compete at Watkins Glen International with the Mission 176 at The Glen Friday afternoon (5 p.m. ET, FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) to start NASCAR’s tripleheader weekend.

Current NASCAR Xfinity Series championship contender Austin Hill won the last truck race at the iconic New York road course in 2021 fending off now-NASCAR Cup Series driver John Hunter Nemechek and Hill’s fellow Xfinity Series regular Sheldon Creed for the trophy. You have to go all the way back to 2000 for the previous truck race at The Glen, won from pole position by Greg Biffle.

Ryan Preece Continues Drive for Playoff Spot This Weekend at Watkins Glen

Ryan Preece, driver of the No. 60 Fastenal Ford Mustang Dark Horse for RFK Racing, is coming off a fifth place finish in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway. He’s currently 23 points behind teammate Chris Buescher for the final playoff spot as the series heads to Watkins Glen International. Preece spoke about his situation as part of the weekly Ford Performance media call.
