Springfield, IL August 8, 2025-Twenty-year old Isabella Robusto returns for her sophomore run at the ARCA Menard’s Allen Crowe 100 Sunday, August 17 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The South Carolina resident nearly became the first female winner of a major auto racing event on the Springfield Mile in 2024 when she started 19th and finished 2nd driving for the Venturini Team. She returns in 2025 chasing an ARCA title, currently fifth in points after twelve events with 8 top 10 finishes. She also pairs with the Venturini team in 2025 and will be one of the challengers, if not favorites to capture the Allen Crowe 100.

Robusto made a big splash at Springfield last year, starting at the back after not posting a qualification time. Isabella showed she could run with the boys very quickly by moving toward the front and racing door handle to door handle in just one of four ARCA events she ran in 2024. While she never took the lead, she gained a legion of fans at Springfield with the strong run to second. The second-place finish tied the second posted by Hailie Deegan in 2020. Second is the best finish for any woman in any auto race in the 100 plus year history of the Springfield Mile.

Isabella is tackling the entire 2025 ARCA Menard’s schedule having run all 12 races to date. She finished third twice and is 125 points behind leader Brenden Queen. The Venturini Team she drives for has seven Crowe 100 trophies since 2013. The 62nd ARCA Allen Crowe 100 takes place on the legendary Springfield Mile Sunday, August 17.
It’s all part of a huge weekend of racing in Central Illinois that opens on Friday, August 15 with MOWA Sprint cars at Lincoln Speedway before going to the Springfield Mile on Saturday, August 16 for USAC Silver Crown and Sportsman and then returning Sunday, August 17 for the ARCA Menards Series and the Sportsman Nationals.
