STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 2, 2024 – The NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs continue with NBC Sports’ presentation of the YellaWood 500 live from Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Ala., this Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. A 45-minute Countdown to Green Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC leads into live race coverage. Talladega is the first of six consecutive Cup Series playoff races to be presented live on NBC, culminating in the Cup Series Championship on Nov. 10.

Live Pre-Race Coverage of NASCAR Cup Series Round of 12 Playoff Race from Kansas Speedway Begins Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 26, 2024 – The first Round of 12 playoff race begins with NBC Sports’ presentation of the NASCAR Cup Series’ Hollywood Casino 400 Presented by ESPN Bet live from Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., – this Sunday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network. A 30-minute Countdown to Green Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network leads into live race coverage.

Kyle Larson dominated last week’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway, leading 462 of 500 laps and winning by over seven seconds at the famed track. The 2021 Cup Series champion enters the Round of 12 as the top overall seed, with Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, William Byron, and Ryan Blaney rounding out the top five. Last week’s cutoff race saw Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski, and Harrison Burton eliminated from playoff contention.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 24, 2024) – Sunday afternoon’s Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a day sports car racing fans and the team at AO Racing will not soon forget. Determined as ever to keep their championship points lead, the team drove an incredible race from last position on the grid to first place, expanding the championship points gap for Rexy, the Porsche 911 GT3 Rawr. Stewart-Haas Racing: Food City 300 from Bristol – COLE CUSTER WINS!

Cole Custer won the Food City 300 to score his 15th career NASCAR Xfinity Series victory, his second of the season and his first at Bristol. His margin over second-place Sheldon Creed was .896 of a second.

There were seven caution periods for a total of 57 laps.

Seventeen of the 38 drivers in the race finished on the lead lap.

Custer is the NASCAR Xfinity Series Regular Season Champion by a three-point advantage over Justin Allgaier. (more…)
