CONCORD, N.C.: Make no mistake about it, Frankie Muniz has even surprised himself as a rookie in the ARCA Menards Series this season.
The driver of the No. 30 Rette Jones Racing Ford Mustang has busted out three top-10 finishes in the first four races of the season – consistency that propelled him into the ARCA Menards Series points lead following the race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in April.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The future of NASCAR was on full display during Saturday’s Dawn 150 at Kansas Speedway.
Jesse Love and Taylor Gray entertained the crowd with a thrilling battle that saw the two drivers exchange the lead for most of the afternoon. Conventional wisdom suggested the General Tire 150 at Phoenix Raceway would apply some heat to the early ARCA Menards Series championship race.
Indeed, through two races in 2021, the winner of the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, Corey Heim, has just a three-point lead in the standings over second-place Ty Gibbs after the latter won Friday’s 150-lap race in Avondale, Arizona. (more…)
AVONDALE, Ariz. – Only two challengers had chances to stop Ty Gibbs from winning Friday’s General Tire 150 at Phoenix Raceway in the closing laps.
