Doug Coby Grabs Top-Five Finish in Ed Partridge 256 at Riverhead Raceway

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. – Saturday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour visit to Riverhead Raceway ended with a top-five finish for Doug Coby.

Driving the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY, Coby qualified fourth for the Ed Partridge 256, and rode around the top-five for much of the night. With infield pitting a factor for the first time in the history of Whelen Modified Tour racing at Riverhead, the team completed a successful stop and Coby raced to a strong fourth-place finish.
