In 2025, Hendrick Motorsports will field its No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet in a 16-race NASCAR Xfinity Series slate featuring the organization’s four NASCAR Cup Series stars and newcomer Corey Day. The effort will be led by crew chief Adam Wall.
William Byron will kick off the schedule March 1 at Circuit of The Americas, marking his first of two races in the No. 17 Chevy. Kyle Larson will also make two appearances while teammates Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman will each drive once. (more…)

Rick Hendrick doesn’t view Jimmie Johnson as a turncoat—far from it.
After all, Johnson claimed seven NASCAR Cup Series championships—including a record five in a row—while driving the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet from 2001 through 2020.

For 38 weekends throughout the 2024 season the focus in the NASCAR Cup Series garage was solely on the drivers, the pit crews, and the on-track product. On Wednesday and Thursday, the Hendrick Motorsports mechanics got their chance to be the stars of the show in the 23rd annual Randy Dorton Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown Presented by Valvoline. Hendrick Motorsports will not appeal the disqualification of the No. 48 car following Sunday’s race at the Charlotte ROVAL. NASCAR allows a clear margin to account for the difference in pre- and post-race weight. After a thorough review by our team and the sanctioning body, we simply did not give ourselves enough margin to meet the post-race requirement. Although unintentional, the infraction was avoidable. We are extremely disappointed to lose a playoff spot under these circumstances and apologize to our fans and partners.

Sadler-Stanley Racing, co-owned by Virginia attorney and State Senator Bill Stanley, and former NASCAR driver Hermie Sadler, will honor Roy Hendrick and the entire Hendrick family at the next SMART Modified Tour race this weekend.
The team will honor Hendrick by carrying the “Flying 11” number on the entry driven by Jonathan Cash. The Pace-O-Matic machine will compete at South Boston Speedway on Saturday, October 12.
