Hendrick Motorsports has made a splash in the offseason, signing 19-year-old rising star Corey Day to a multi-year contract.
Day’s new contract will see him running in the NASCAR Xfinity, Craftsman Truck, ARCA Menards and TransAm Series in 2025. He will be competing in nearly 30 pavement events this season, with Day slated to race in Daytona, Phoenix Raceway, Sonoma Raceway and Kansas as part of his four-race ARCA schedule.
The 19-year-old’s signing comes at the behest of two of Hendrick Motorsports’ biggest names: Kyle Larson and Jeff Gordon. In a statement, Rick Hendrick, the team owner, explained how having both Larson’s and Gordon’s approval showed just how highly the two viewed Day.
