Wright Motorsports Confirms VOLT® Lighting IMSA WeatherTech GTD Entry

BATAVIA, Ohio. (December 2, 2022) – Hot on the heels of winning the 2022 Michelin Pilot Challenge team and driver championship, VOLT® Racing, with Porsche Cup winner Alan Brynjolfsson and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Champion Trent Hindman will advance to the IMSA WeatherTech GTD class in 2023, partnering with Wright Motorsports. The pair will be racing brand-new machinery, the Wright Motorsports No. 77 VOLT® Lighting Porsche 911 GT3 R (type 992), in the iconic electric yellow and black VOLT® Racing livery.

Montecalvo Ready To Conquer Season Finale At Petit Le Mans

Wednesday, September 28, 2022 – Highlands, NJ – Vasser Sullivan driver Frankie Montecalvo is ready to take on the final round of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship – Petit Le Mans. Montecalvo will contest the ten-hour endurance race with co-drivers Aaron Telitz and Richard Heistand.

The race marks the 25^th Anniversary of the Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Montecalvo has scored multiple top-five finishes at Petit Le Mans and a third place in 2021 but has yet to bring home a win. That’s something he’s hoping to change this weekend. (more…)
