While most race tracks in the Northeast cancelled their Saturday racing events due to unfavorable weather, Wiscasset Speedway rolled the dice and won, hosting an action-packed Group #1 racing program which included the Norm’s Used Cars Pro Stocks, Kennebec Equipment Rental Thunder 4 Minis, Davis Erector Group 207 Crate Modifieds and double features for the Brackett’s Market 4-Cylinder Pros and Gosline Insurance Group Super Streets.
NASHVILLE, TN — In a highly exciting feature event, Chuck Barnes, Jr. of Louisville, KY powered his way to victory in the CRA Street Stock 30-lap main event Thursday evening at the legendary Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The race was part of the highly anticipated Rackley Roofing Battle of Broadway, which brought out some of the top talent in short track racing.
SEEKONK, Mass. — With three events in the books for their 2025 season, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is heading for Massachusetts next. NASCAR’s oldest touring series, celebrating the 40th anniversary this season, returns to Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, May 31, for the J&R Precast 150. The fourth race of the season brings the Tour to the Action Track of the East in the midst of Seekonk’s 80th season of short-track racing.
NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. visited Fort Campbell to engage with troops and experience military life firsthand ahead of Nashville Superspeedway’s Cracker Barrel 400 NASCAR triple-header race weekend (May 30-June 1). The visit highlighted the deep-rooted connection between NASCAR and the United States military while amplifying the NASCAR Salutes Together with Coca-Cola initiative, which reached over 250,000 military-affiliated individuals in the Clarksville area.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to Seekonk Speedway this weekend for their first and only visit of the year, the J&R Precast 150. The event is currently on schedule for Saturday night, May 31, at 5:30 p.m., when the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will hit the track for qualifying.

CLAREMONT, N.H. – A Sunday-night showdown between old friends and rivals ended with Wayne Helliwell, Jr. taking the checkers at Claremont Motorsports Park in the opening round of the Granite State Pro Stock Series’ fourteenth season.
Helliwell slipped past Joey Polewarczyk with fifteen laps left, then outdueled the former series champion on a late restart to take his first GSPSS win in over a decade.

Barre, VT – While a heavy fog and mist started off the day, Mother Nature finally changed her ways for Northern New England race fans on Sunday afternoon at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. Thirty-three Maplefields/Irving Late Models filed into the Thunder Road pit area with officials opting to start all cars for the 62nd Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic.

The legendary scheme will be showcased at the MLB Speedway Classic on August 2 and will be raced by Earnhardt Jr. in the zMAX CARS Tour event at Anderson (S.C.) Motor Speedway on August 16.
