CONCORD, N.C., December 19, 2024 (Newswire.com) – The return of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s iconic Budweiser No. 8 paint scheme to on-track competition propelled sales of its die-cast to the top of Lionel Racing’s annual best-sellers list, the company announced today.
There are 308(!) entries for the January 12, 2025 edition of the Chili Bowl, which has been run in Tulsa in January since 1987… notable entries so far are Sammy Swindell, Kyle Larson, J.J. Yeley, and Brad Sweet, among many others.
Here are the entries for the Chili Bowl to be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, two weeks after Christmas. There are 197 as of yesterday. Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr are a couple of the notable entries from the NASCAR Cup Series.

For the second consecutive year, and the sixth time overall, Chevrolet swept the manufacturer championship titles across the NASCAR national ranks – earning its 43rd NASCAR Cup Series Manufacturer Championship; its 26th Bill France Performance Cup in the NASCAR Xfinity Series; and its 12th NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Manufacturer Championship. Phoenix International Raceway continues to deliver quality racing for sure. And like it or not, the Cup playoffs usually produce a quality winner.
This year, one could argue that NASCAR and its playoff system did Phoenix wrong.
First of all, let’s get the Martinsville results out of the way. Ryan Blaney drove his rear off and won the race to complete his effort to try for his second title. That makes it Blaney, Joey Logano (for title number three), Tyler Reddick and William Byron as the Championship Four. That is quite the foursome, but it also begs the question, is this the right foursome to compete for the title?
