(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to weekly racing action with the Late Model division taking center stage with their extra distance Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50 feature event on Friday night, September 5th. Chris Meyer was the big winner of the night by winning the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50. Meyer had the car of Chris Buffone right behind him for roughly the final 35 laps and Buffone actually took the lead from Meyer coming to the white flag, but Meyer was able to retake the lead on the final lap and win the race. Other winners on the night were Mikey Flynn in the SK Modified® feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Travis Hydar in the Limited Late Model feature, and Brent Gleason in the Street Stock feature.

GMS Race Cars Acquires SRX Assets From Ray Evernham Enterprises
Black Kat Sports (Facebook) reports GMS Race Cars has acquired SRX Racing assets from Ray Evernham Enterprises.
The deal includes 16 SRX cars, pit equipment, race-day infrastructure, and select spare parts. The deal does not include the SRX brand, trademarks, or future broadcast rights.

Logan Melcher Wins 2025 Boss Hogg 150 at Wiscasset Speedway
Wiscasset Speedway opened up their gates on Saturday for one of their biggest race events of the year: the doubleheader Boss Hogg 150 weekend.
Saturday’s program began before any cars hit the track as Team Wiscasset hosted their annual “Racin’ Cancer” walk/bike, benefiting the Dean Snell Cancer Foundation. Dozens of people participated, fundraising for the local organization that helps Maine cancer patients in need.
