Barre, VT – Double Features were on the menu Thursday at Thunder Road International Speedbowl for Community College of Vermont Night at The Road. Double features for some meant strategy was thrown to the wayside with the foot to the firewall, to others it was patience, a strong brake pedal and eyes up. To all, it was the ultimate test of man, machine and teamwork on the Barre highbanks.

Through it all, one of the best battles for the lead occurred on the tricky third-mile Bay State oval for all the honors that go with the 50th Spring Green 125.
With time of the essence, one round of heat race qualifying set the field for the second round of the Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown on Wednesday evening with Joey Polewarczyk, Brandon Lambert and Derek Gluchacki taking the heat race wins. After driving from dead last to fourth in heat two, D.J. Shaw earned the pole position with a +5 alongside St. Paul, Quebec’s Remi Perreault and his +3 to bring the twenty-six car field to green.

This Wednesday night, June 25, the Action Track of the East will light up again for a special race event with both the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series and American-Canadian Tour coming to town.
Both divisions will compete in a 125-lap contest, with racing action set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted round 2 of the Tick Mike Triple Crown for its SK Modified® division with the 50-lap Call Before You Dig Senator’s Cup on Friday, June 20th. The race served as the second of three legs of the TickMike.com Triple Crown and Michael Christopher, Jr. was the winner for the second consecutive week. Christopher’s victory was also his third consecutive victory in the CBYD Senator’s Cup 50-lap feature event. HOLLAND, NY (June 21, 2025) – The Race of Champions “Family of Series” stormed back into Holland International Speedway for the SealMaster 100 this past Saturday, where four drivers celebrated their first wins of the 2025 season in front of a packed house on the high banks.
Andy Jankowiak, of Buffalo, N.Y., made the most of a return to Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series action, holding off his protégé Mason Hanel of Clarence, N.Y., to capture the 40-lap feature win.
